Excellent at gaining trust and building credibility

Nick is excellent at gaining trust and building credibility amongst our staff - both academic and support staff. He supported leaders at all levels of the University and built good relationships with them. His ability to effectively communicate at all levels has definitely helped development interventions have an impact at a deeper level. In particular, Nick has implemented a new 360 feedback tool which has helped leaders gain an insight into their strengths and development areas. Very knowledgeable in his field, Nick has challenged our thinking as OD practitioners and helped us to consider our own practice and what we offer to the institution. I would not hesitate to recommend Nick for long term or short assignments to help address client needs.

A highly effective trainer and facilitator

Nick Gallagher-Hughes is a highly effective trainer and facilitator. His approach is always very good humoured, which is backed by rigorous research. Feedback from our colleagues has been that Nick is highly personable, inclusive and excellent at bringing people together with different viewpoints. We have also used him to research and write e-learning materials for us and will continue to work with Nick over the coming years.

A Great Communicator

Nick is a great communicator – he fully engaged my group of 30 undergraduates as they explored the impact of computerised psychometric testing and HR systems on recruitment and retention – a topic that was well outside of their current world view.  I would highly recommend his approach to teaching management subjects at undergraduate level.
